This is a demonstration of DigiTrax, a six-track digital recording studio for the Macintosh. It requires:
Macintosh Centris/Quadra 660av, Quadra 840av
OR Mac II class machine with a NuMedia 16 bit audio card

The main features are:
(1) Records 16 bit audio at 22.05, 24, 44.1 or 48kHz
(2) Real-Time parametric EQ on each track
(3) Automated or manual punch in/out recording
(4) Direct control of CD-ROM drive to record from audio CD’s
(5) Synchronized QuickTime movie playback for soundtrack authoring
(6) Synchronization to SMPTE time code and live video monitor for video postproduction.
(7) Synchronization to MIDI sequencers via MIDI Manager (OMS support: Summer ‘94).
The functionality is the same as the shipping version except the following commands which have been disabled for this demonstration version:
(1) Save Session
(2) Bounce (merge tracks)
(3) Mix to Master
(4) Mix to Movie
(5) Apply EQ
There is balloon help available for most items in the windows. Be sure to “zoom open” the transport window to display the CD ROM controls. The “DigiTrax PlugIns” folder must be in the same directory as the application.
